Welcome to Double Dog Studios
The new home and studio of artist/illustrator Dave Klug and marketing consultant, Pat Klug, Double Dog Studios stands on hallowed ground. Our building originally served as the rectory for St. Joseph German Catholic Church. In 1981, a fire destroyed the beloved church, but the rectory was left untouched.
The Klugs moved into the property June, 2019, and have been lovingly and diligently bringing the building back to life. Day-by-day, they are restoring the building and making it, once again, a place to live, work and gather. In the very new future, Double Dog Studios will house three art gallery areas, a spacious kitchen for wine tastings and guest chef dinners, a salon for living room concerts and discussions, and workshop space for burgeoning and accomplished artists, alike.
Cheerfully watching all the activity are the Klug’s own dog duo, Ollie and George.
